How 'bout where you live?
Last night Kellie attended a Moravian Lovefeast to celebrate Christmas Eve. It was very delightful with all the singing, candles and lovebuns. The best part is at the end when they dim the lights in the church and the room glows from the candles each person is holding. Very sweet and peaceful.
For Christmas Eve dinner Kellie headed to the Goodwyn's house for a "simple" dinner. Let me tell you there was nothing simple about it. Sis. Goodwyn (or Honey as her family calls her) knows how to lay a spread. Everyone was invited into the living room to open one gift - Christmas pajammas. How sweet was it that they had a pair for Kellie too? It was just like being at home. How grateful Kellie is to have such good friends and ward members who treat her like family!
Santa even found his way to North Carolina with a fabulous stocking filled with fabulous, fun gifts. It was perfect. Thank you Santa!!
Griffin has really been into his presents this year. After he went out this morning for his constitutional, he ran right back in to see his gifts. His new stuffed dog came out first, followed by his gift from the Bodens (which he tore right into). Below is a little video clip of him playing with what was inside. All week his puppy friends have been dropping off presents for him. He too is blessed. (And yes, Kellie pours a lot of love and energy into this dog....but when you don't have a husband or kids of your own and none of the nieces or nephews live close by....this sort of thing just happens.)
The Rich family has invited both Kellie and Griffin to Christmas Brunch at 11 am. It is sure to be tasty as Miss Linda is an excellent cook.
Thanks to all for making our Christmas a very merry holiday!
