Incentive...

How effective are incentives? Well, here is a story about how it worked for AshB.

Hunter and Grace wanted to ride the carousel at the mall. AshB told them they would have to verbally spell their names to do so. The incentive was so great that they did it! (after a few tears and about an hour of practice in the food court for Grace.) Both kids are also writing their names (Well really, just following the tracings of their names but pretty darn close.) Not too bad for a 3 and 4 year old.
