The editor of Peacock Feathers is pleased to report some happy daily happenings for the Peacock flock. First, Brett got a job. We are all very proud of him, especially in today's economy that is not an easy task. Trever made his high school soccer team, Kaiti made the dance team for her high school, Kelly Nicole is playing goalie for her high school Lacrosse team, McKayla's gymnastics's team took second at a recent competition, and James was selected to sing for the honor's choir of his elementary school. And there is much, much more, but this is just what this editor has been told of late. What talented kids we are surrounded by! What we like most about all of them is that they are growing up to be good kids, with fun and unique personalities. We are so proud of each and everyone of them.
The proud pooch of this blog was a brave little dude during his recent eye surgery. He now sports a fabulous e-collar (aka, Cone of Shame). He is learning unique ways to eat (he prefers his person to hand feed him) and drink (can we say "clean up on aisle 10") and sleep. Of course the hard part is that he doesn't fit into his "safe place" any more. See the sadness!! How does one survive when you can't flee to your "safe place". Little dude...two more weeks and counting. Hang in there.
