A Tender Tennessee Christmas. . .

Aaron, Atina and Aislyn hosted Kellie for Christmas this year. The festivities began with dinner at Big Ed's, a local pizza joint. Amazingly, Kellie lived in Oak Ridge for nine years and never ate there. The place was packed and the pizza was good. And now Kellie can be a true Oak Ridger!

The Tennessee Peacocks and their pack provided a comfortable place to stay. Griffin enjoyed playing, napping and walking with Oliver and Bentley.

(He found their couch particularly pleasant.)

On Christmas Eve Kellie tried to make bread. Goodness, it was a total fail! We hit the movie theater to watch the new Sherlock Holmes (entertaining) and of course enjoyed the traditional Christmas Eve Fondue.

So yummy!

Christmas day began with Christmas stockings . . .a favorite for the Peacocks. Then we were off to church where the choir put on a beautiful performance and Aaron gave a great talk about looking to Christ. After church Kellie visited with dear Tennessee friends she hadn't seen in a long time. Then, we commenced with the rest of the gifts and a tasty Christmas dinner.

(Aislyn was a very good girl this year!)

(Griffin still enjoys opening gifts.)

(See, she was really GOOD!)

The most exciting part of the day was the phone call from Elder (Emerson) Peacock who is serving a mission in Scotland. Boy, does he sound like his Dad!

(As you can tell, the family was anxious to talk to him.)

Those of us in Tennessee hope your Christmas was as a great!
