New things...

Mom and Dad moved into their new apartment recently. I'm sure they will be sending their new contact information soon. They will be in the apartment while Dad finishes his last year of work. That is right, the big guy will be retiring in 2009. I don't have the exact date. Good news for him though. He needs move on to phase 3 (or whatever phase retirement is). They will be living with Ken and Krista in their retirement years. Ken has built them a lovely suite in their basement. It includes a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. And, they get the benefits of Ken's well-manicured lawn.

Other new things heading their way is Mom's knee. She goes into to surgery tomorrow to get her knee replaced. Keep her in your prayers and be sure to send and call your well wishes during her recovery. Perhaps she will have some good surgery pictures she can share with us at a later date!
