Boden Update...

The Bodens continue to be busy, busy bees in Germany. I spoke with Darcy this afternoon and here are a few of the highlights:

  • Easter was good times for all. . .their Easter Egg Hunt was especially fun thanks to the snow. That's right, they got snow in March. Typical of Boden celebrations, they gathered friends for dinner and games. Not typical is that a kid (not a Boden) managed to split their head open. Lucky for all Steve was there to close it up with a few staples. What did you get for Easter? Jelly beans, chocolate, marshmallow Peeps and these here staples in my head!
  • Spain or Bust. In two weeks the Bodens are off to a beach house in Spain for Spring Break. While they are there, they plan to take a little day trip to Africa. Hmm....Aunt Kellie wishes she was with them!
  • Nicole made the Commander's Honor Roll. Each year the Commander invites the highest academic and most improved students to a special reception where they are given a commemorative coin. Nicole was one of nine students from her Junior High to make the list. This is the second time she has made the list. In addition, Nicole's science experiment received recognition for a job well done. She has been invited to present her paper at a local science symposium. Go Nicole!
  • Jessica is proud to report that she can now do the splits. She is very, very proud of this accomplishment...Jessica, so are we!
  • James will once again be entertaining the crowds. He will be playing Mark Twain in his school play scheduled for May. James, wish we could be there. We know you will do a great job!
  • The rumor has been confirmed. McKayla's history project is going to nationals. She and Darcy will be heading for Washington, DC in June. Way to go McKayla.

Well folks, that is the news from Germany. Darcy promised a few photos at a later date.

Peacock Family...keep the news coming. While I adore my puppy, people can only handle so much. Save the masses by sending me your news.
